Una buena noticia de manos del gigante azul.
Como ya ha hecho en varias ocasiones, IBM, la empresa con mas patentes del mundo (mas de 40.000), ha afirmado su disposicion de abrir un paquete de algunos cientos de ellas para uso por terceros, con el fin de estimular la innovacion.
Esto unido a su fuerte inversion de desarrollo en aplicaciones linux, esta favoreciendo muchisimo a la comunidad del software libre y su modelo de desarrollo. Y esta demostrando ademas que con el software libre se pueden obtener muchos beneficios, por desgracia de microsoft.
Esperemos que las cosas sigan asi, y q cosas como la ley de patentes informaticas europea no nos jodan el dia.

Ya iba siendo hora de que alguien le diera un toke de atencion a Apple… Muchos estudios recientes demuestran que es una de la empresas tecnologicas que mas contaminan del planeta.
Segun varias ONG el programa de reciclaje de tanto iPods, MacBooks y del resto de la familia es bastante deficiente, a lo que se suma el uso de productos quimicos bastante contaminantes, que hace ya tiempo fueron desechados y sustituidos por otros mas inocuos por parte del resto de fabricantes del sector.
Por esto Greenpeace ha lanzado una pagina web, a imagen y semejanza de la de Apple (Con un toque un poco mas verde) motivo de una campaña para concienciar a los consumidores y hacer presion para que la situacion cambie… En la pagina se explica como todos estos productos terminan en vertederos en china, y otros paises subdesarrollados, con el consiguiente riesgo que esto supone a la poblacion cercana y especialmente a los niños.
Asiq sr Jobs, sepa que admiro mucho su trabajo, y pienso que sus productos tanto de software como los de hardware pueden considerarse de los mas superiores del mercado, pero el tema de cuidar un poco el medioambiente no es menos importante, y seria bastante bueno ademas de ser una de las tecnologicas mas punteras, lo fueran tb con respecto al medio ambiente.
UD: Ad+ los chicos de Greenpeace se han tomado una licencia y tb les han copiado el anuncio…
